Coastal Association of REALTORS® Recognizes More Than Four Decades of Service to the Coastal Real Estate Community

Ocean City, MD — August 12, 2026 — The Coastal Association of REALTORS® is proud to recognize James “Jamie” B. Caine, Jr. for achieving REALTOR® Emeritus Status, an honor recognizing his 40 years of continuous membership with the association and his longstanding contributions to the coastal real estate industry.

Jamie has been selling real estate in Ocean City, Maryland, and the Delaware beaches since 1983. His connection to the local real estate industry began much earlier, growing up watching his father, Jim Caine, help transform North Ocean City from open sandy beaches into thriving residential communities.

The Caine family’s impact remains visible throughout North Ocean City in communities including Caine Woods, Montego Bay, Caine Harbor Mile, Caine Keys I in the 94th Street area, and Caine Keys II in the 106th Street area and beyond.

Throughout his career, Jamie has carried forward his family’s legacy while building a distinguished record of service to his clients and the coastal real estate community. His original membership records document his early involvement with the Greater Ocean City Board of REALTORS® and his longstanding commitment to the REALTOR® profession.

Under the Coastal Association of REALTORS® Policies and Procedures, members who have maintained 40 years of continuous membership with the association qualify for Emeritus Status, and their annual local dues are waived. Jamie has now achieved that milestone, earning this well-deserved recognition.
